Order a student card by registering to Frank service, where you will also find the best student benefits in Finland. The service will automatically recognize that you're a postgraduate student.
New students, congratulations for starting your studies! You can order a student card when you've paid the membership fee of your student organization and the information about your membership has been transferred to Frank (may take a few days, hang in there!).
Students who are already enrolled and present, you can activate the digital student card Frank App or order a new plastic student card immediately.
Order a student card by logging in to Frank's service, where you can order your student card and activate the best discounts in Finland. Read more about student card selection in fall 2017 from below!
Make sure that the following things are okay before ordering a student card:
- You have enrolled for the current school semester
- You are a member of your own student union and have paid the membership fee
- You have a profile picture that is
- Square shaped (1:1 ratio) jpg (no png or pdf), size at least 300 x 300 px
- Similar to passport photo but with colors
- No hats, sunglasses, quirky backgrounds or other disturbances
- Note: If you upload a bad photo, it cannot be used as a student ID!

In order to apply for Danske Bank's student card with payment feature, you need
- to have a Finnish Personal Security Number
- a Finnish home address and it needs to be registered in Finland through the Population Registration Centre
- a valid Finnish passport or an official ID card (driver’s licence is not official) as well as Finnish e-banking credentials (any bank will do)
- to be able to understand and willing to sign legal text in either Finnish or Swedish
If you do not have any of the needed documents or do not understand Finnish or Swedish, please visit your local Danske Bank branch to become a customer.
Please note that banks have the right to choose their customers, so if you’re in Finland only for a short time (e.g. one semester), the best plastic student card option for you is listed below.
